Day 350 Mum's Birthday

Today was Mum's 80th birthday, so a significant day.  Sadly the ward staff hadn't realised and when Dad and I  took some cards and presents in and spent the afternoon with her she slept the whole time.  We weren't expecting much reaction from her but it would have been nice to get a bit more response than we did.  Ah well! that's Life!


I stopped off at Porrthcawl seafront on my way home.   It's dark now by five o'clock and the place was deserted.  It was cold and windy so I was pleased when this couple strolled past on the lower level of the esplanade to add a bit of interest to this photo.
