Day 62 - Disappointing

Yesterday I treated myself to a Speedlight, a proper flashgun for the camera.  I have been struggling with lighting and this will be a big help for several reasons. On the camera it's better than the built in flash as it's height gives greater separation between lens and light, which looks better but more importantly I can fire it wirelessly distant from the camera.  This means I can bring in light from different angles and heights and I can use it through diffusers or with reflectors if I choose to spend more money! I particularly wanted one before our sons wedding in a month & to have time to practice with it. Well I ordered online & paid for next day delivery.  It was dispatched yesterday but it hasn't arrived!  I've waited in all day, not that I would have gone far as I'm full of cold, coughing & sneezing everywhere! It is very frustrating. I hadn't taken a photo earlier, as I was hoping to use the new flash, so when LB set off to the hospital to see his Mum I had to think of a photo.  A beer appealed and then I thought of these lovely handmade pottery mugs that my brother bought me one Christmas - ideal for the beer & the photo. This is the best tasting photo I've done!
