Day 127 A Cascade of Cakes

What a lovely time we had at Saturdays Reception! It was great to catch up with a lot of people I've not met for ages and also to get to know others who are important to Huw and Mel who I've heard of but never met.  As ever with wedding receptions there were too many people and too little time to chat as much as I wanted. MiL & my Dad, bravely attended though I think were a bit overwhelmed by the crowd and both made a rapid exit when the music started. 


As expected I took a lot of photos of the participants which aren't appropriate for this blog so the photo for the day is of the cakes. Not one big cake but hundreds of little fairy cakes which was a really great way of doing it. They were iced in white and puple ( the colour of the groom's tie) and butterflies, which were the motif on Mia's dress.
