Day 124 Hectic!

We were woken by a phone call this morning, a company with some aids for MiL. They wanted to let us know they would be delivering sometime today, didn't kow when but they would give us about half an hours notice and could we be at MiL's house then to let us in?  Rang the hospital mid morning to see when MiL would be home - they didn't know.  Great! At mid day we were supposed to be in Cardiff to pick up our new toys - two brand new cycles  : ).  Huw hadn't returned to work  so asked him to be on standby if the aids arrived while we were out. In return agreed to have a look at Mia later as she was poorly.


Back home it got a bit chaotic.   LB realised they'd given him the wrong frame size bike, Huw & Mia arrived, aids people rang to say would be delivering in 15 minutes!   Once Huw had left & delivery was done I drove back to Cardiff to swap bikes while LB waited for MiL although hospital still didn't know when ambulance was picking her up.  She eventually arrived home at about 5.00pm and LB & I went down to stay overnight with her.  She was utterly exhausted and not very with it, which was rather worrying.  She was in bed by 9.00 and snoring away two minutes later!


Another quick snap for today - of the new bikes- of course!  We haven't found a proper home for them yet.  Our garage is damp and I don't want them going rusty so at the moment they're in the dining room.  Did a black & white conversion as the green wall didn't suit & they're grey & white bikes anyway.
