Day 336 Flying

Not a lot to report from a very long day.  We were picked up from the hotel at a very reasonable 10.00 to get to the airport in time for our 1.00pm flight.  Singapore Airport is amazing.  It's a major hub for far east routes and is vast.  It is also empty and peaceful with calming music  reminiscent of a spa. Weird! One unique feature of the airport is the Butterfly Farm.  This was a good spot to spend half an hour while waiting to board and was also the source of todays photos. The only problem with it was the rain. With a mesh roof open to the elements i.e. tropical rain it was tricky keeping the drips off the lens!  As for the rest of the day, well 14 hours on a plane is not the best  but we got through it, reached our Heathrow hotel and crawled into bed.
