Day 262 Parents

Back home and time for the parents. Ian went down to see his Mum & I did the Porthcawl/Bridgend run.  dad was fine & we enjoyed doing the crosswords together before visiting Mum. Suprisingly she noticed I had a new cardigan on, said she liked it and asked how much it was! The rest of the time she was either silent or mostly talked gobbledegook as usual.  We played balloons again as that keeps her attention better than anything else we've thought of. Afte Ian had gone to bed I started thinking of photos.  I'd discovered a glass paperweight in the cupboard, in its box.  I can't remember where we got it from.  It seemed a nice night time subject with a bit of flash to brighten its interior bubbles.
